IT Project Manager (Risk and Control)

My client, a Quantitative Asset Manager, is seeking an individual IT Project Manager to manage mid to large size projects with a focus on risk and control. The candidate must be able to collaborate effectively, work independently as well as in teams, communicate effectively at all levels, and work on multiple initiatives that are running in parallel. Prior experience in the investment management industry as an IT project manager with SOC 1, SOC 2, IT Software Change Management, and Disaster Recovery is highly preferred. This is a hybrid work model in Boston.

Responsibilities:

• Scoping, planning and executing on IT projects
• Serve as a scrum master and facilitating scrum events
• Collaborating with multiple IT and business teams to achieve project objectives and timelines for all assigned projects
• Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders on issues and project status

Qualifications:

• Experience in IT including 5 or more years of experience supporting IT business projects, IT Risk and Control projects and IT operational projects
• Experience in the Financial Services industry highly preferred
• Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
• Agile Scrum Master Certification and/or PMP Certification preferred
