Come build the future of content management at AWS Marketing! Our teams in CCTech organization are responsible for running the services and tools that power the AWS Marketing Website, Blogs, and Email platforms/channels. We are currently re-building our platforms to better scale our offerings and bring the platform to more 3rd Party & 1st party offerings. Our tools are used by thousands of internal users across many different teams in AWS.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to help build out our next generation content health services that enhance and scale content quality initiatives across AWS Marketing. The team uses many AWS services such as SageMaker, DynamoDB, OpenSearch (Elasticsearch), Lambda, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, SES, S3, APIGateway, as well as 3rd party CMS systems such as Adobe Managed Services and many other external and internal tools. We don’t expect you to be an expert in, or necessarily even be familiar with, all of the technologies listed above, but we do expect you to be excited to learn about them!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred
- Experience with Application Security and remediating security related issues
- Experience with Operational Excellence and end to end product support
- Hands-on experience on working with AWS technologies such as: AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) with Typescript, AWS Lambda, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon EventBridge, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon API Gateway
- Familiarity or experience with Adobe CMS products such as AEM or AMS

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
