Miami office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an attorney preferably with 1 year of first-party property or PIP defense litigation experience. The candidate will manage a significant caseload from inception to post-trial. Responsibilities include attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials; preparing pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents; and preparing timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activities. The candidate will also develop clients via relationship-building methods and is expected to travel to various courthouses and other locations. Meeting monthly billing requirements is essential.
Requirements
Must have knowledge and experience in first-party property claims and/or PIP litigation. Should have expertise in all phases of litigation, from pleadings through trials. Knowledge and experience in taking and defending depositions are required. Must be a Good Standing Member of the Florida Bar. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary. The candidate must be technologically confident, very comfortable using process management systems, and effectively utilize available technology and automation. Knowledge of Time Matters, Juris, and Acuity is a plus.
