About the Company:   Composite Manufacturing Company
Location: North County San Diego – Fully Onsite
Title: Accounting Manager
 
Salary:  $110-130k + Bonus
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead General Accounting functions such as general ledger, AP, AR, Payroll and cost accounting
• Lead month end closing including preparing and posting of journal entries and reconcile monthly ledger accounts and help establish accounting policies and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and financial reporting packages
• Monitoring and managing Raw material, Work-in-process and Finished goods inventory, providing adjustments as needed
• Monitoring standard cost for each product and monitor reports like Inventory, cost absorptions and variances. Manage and analyze standard costs, BOM’s, etc.
• Ensure proper internal controls are maintained and provide process improvements
• Participate in the company's continuous improvement projects to assist in identifying opportunities and implement cost-saving objectives

 
Required Qualifications:

• BA or BS in Business Administration emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of related experience in a standard manufacturing environment as an Accountant, Accounting Manager or Cost Accountant. Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Large ERP system experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suites, including Excel 

• Experienced in Manufacturing environment
