If you do not fill all of the qualifications, you may still be considered depending on your level of experience.

Responsibilities:

Work with the investment team to architect, implement, run, and improve the systems supporting the business, including cloud-based microservices, CI/CD pipeline, data pipeline, integration with external systems, analytics platform, and others. Note the actual business logic and systems will be primarily developed by the investment team.

  3. Support Middle Office and Operations Tech stack, including integration with 3rd party trade capture and position management solutions.
  4. Provide front line support for these systems as they are critical for operations.
  5. Continue to innovate and suggest technologies and improvements to the overall tech stack; the existing stack is not set in stone, and we are always seeking improvement and happy to make changes and adopt new ideas.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree and around 3 years of experience as an engineer within a Hedge Fund.
  2. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience across the full extent of the Hedge Fund tech stack.
  3. Experience with specific systems including managing microservices on a Kubernetes Cluster, integration with 3rd party trading systems, and managing a hybrid cloud/on-prem deployment ideal but not necessary; more important is ability and desire to learn.
  4. The engineer must be able to work independently and have excellent communication skills with both technical (investment staff) and non-technical (operations) members of the team.
  5. Entrepreneurial with an ownership mentality.
  6. Desire to work on a very high performing team and produce results.
