Assistant Director of Sales

We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Sales to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Perks include awesome hotel room discounts, paid time off, and more.

Responsibilities:

1. Effectively source out new corporate clients.
2. Continue relationships with current clients and identify new business.
3. Be responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group/catering related opportunities.
4. Possess the ability to actively sell using a 'grass root' sales mentality.
5. Use the internet to prospect to identify and close new business.
6. Work with the Regional Sales Director to achieve required sales goals.
7. Have current knowledge of hotel rates, strategies, discounts, and promotions.
8. Respond to all sales inquiries, RFPs, and other leads accurately, timely, and professionally.
9. Type correspondence, reports, and necessary forms (i.e., contracts), as well as prepare proposals or other letters as directed.
10. Team management experience required.
11. Other duties as determined by hotel management.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 2 years of Sales experience in hospitality.
2. Knowledge of Sales Systems, Word, and Excel.
3. Complete required Sales Reports.
4. Ability to read and decipher financial reports and records.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to travel if needed.
7. Valid Driver’s License required.
8. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
9. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
10. All other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
