Field Application Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Field Application Scientist (FAS) with expertise in life science, especially proteins and antibodies, based in Boston. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert, supporting customers with any pre and post-sales application needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for customers, assisting with the application and troubleshooting of protein and antibody products.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and seminars to showcase the capabilities of our solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs.
• Assist in the development of technical documentation, protocols, and resources for customers.
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and competitor products to provide cutting-edge support.

Qualifications:

• PhD or MSc in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in protein and antibody research or application, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet customer needs.
