Description
Under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist
Responsibilities
-Provide speech and language development services.
-Consult and/or co-teach with classroom teachers and recommend communication systems/approaches, which will maximize student growth.
-Initiate and maintain parent contact.
-Attend IEP evaluation meetings as required.
-Provide narrative progress reports on all pupils on caseload.
-Perform other duties relating to program as required.
-Be familiar to Massachusetts curriculum frameworks.
Qualifications
-Degree from an accredited program in
(a) speech/language and hearing disorders or
(b) communication disorders.
-Experience working with children with moderate and severe communication disorders.
