The Amazon Photos Product Management team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager-Technical to lead the Personalization space. This Product Manager will invent new deeply personal experiences on our apps and Alexa LLM-powered smart-screen devices Echo Show and Fire TV. This PM will use their technical skills to envision inferences (AI models or algorithms) that will run on consenting customer's photos and videos to learn more about their lives, their loved ones, their hobbies, and more, to power these deeply personal experiences.

Key job responsibilities
- Deeply understand all customer jobs related to photos, videos and memories (such as back up, search, browse, organize, re-live, share) across Amazon Photos Apps, Echo Show, and Fire TV. Invent innovative ways to improve these experiences using personalization to drive deeper customer engagement and delight.
- Partner with Applied Science, Engineering, peer Product Managers, and Leadership, to craft the overall product vision for Amazon Photos. Work back from this overall product vision to build a Personalization-AI and Algorithms investments roadmap, prioritized based on ROI and cost.
- End to end execution - UI, Backend services, AI models, offline and online measurements.
- Partner with Legal, PR and Privacy partners, to ensure we use Personalization-AI in a compliant and responsible way, that minimizes risks for customer harms and upholds customer data privacy.
- Write PRFAQs to help the team analyze new investment ideas.
- Plan how we can gather training and validation ground-truth datasets for proposed AI models. Design customer-in-the-loop experiences that allow customers to implicitly or explicitly tell us more about them, to get more personalized experiences.
- Design offline validation mechanisms partnering with Applied Science and Engineering.
- Drive online (A/B) strategy to measure impact of personalized experiences on customer and business metrics.

Amazon Photos helps customers preserve and re-live their memories. The service comes with unlimited photo storage for Prime members and apps are available on iOS, Android, Web, Desktop, Fire Tablet & Fire TV. The service is also integrated into Alexa devices such as Echo Show. Amazon Photos is the one of the main digital offerings to Prime subscribers along with Amazon Music and Amazon Video offerings. We have ambitious goals to scale growth and adoption of the service around the world and delight our customers with a great product.

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience working on driving launch of an AI model to production.
- Experience working on front-end UI CX of consumer mobile apps and running A/B experiments is preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
