The BH LCSW will collaborate with patient/support system in evaluating, diagnosing patients utilizing current edition Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and/or providing specialized psychotherapy services as described in CPT to reduce and /or resolve symptoms of psychiatric and/or substance use disorders identified.The Licensed Professional Counselor practices in a treatment setting under clinical supervision and is dedicated to evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders. The Licensed Professional Counselor will collaborate with patient/support system to evaluate and diagnose patients. This position will provide specialized psychotherapy services, as described in the CPT, to reduce and /or resolve symptoms of psychiatric and/or substance use disorders identified. Under direct clinical supervision, the Licensed Professional Counselor will utilize established approaches and standards; complete assessment of patient risk to self and/or others; complete and implement risk reduction/mitigation plans to ensure patient and community safety; incorporate evidence based approaches to psychotherapy including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and the recovery model, Under clinical supervision, this position will also demonstrate effectiveness in individual, group and family psychotherapy and multi-modal treatment settings. This position works under clinical supervision, in a licensing board approved plan of supervision to achieve licensure with a Board qualified supervisor certified by the OR state Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.Social Worker LCSW:Required Qualifications:Master's Degree - Social Work from a CSWE Accredited School of Social Work, OR from a school in candidacy status by the Council of Social Work Education (CSWE).Oregon Clinical Social Worker License upon hire. Or,Social Worker License in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered.Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving.
