The Opportunity: We are seeking a Sr. Principal Clinical Specialist, Digital Solutions to work out of our Sylmar, CA location. The Senior Principal Clinical Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping our cardiovascular product development and implementation efforts.
Our medical devices help more than 10,000 people have healthier hearts, improve quality of life for thousands of people living with chronic pain and movement disorders, and liberate more than 500,000 people with diabetes from routine fingersticks.
What You’ll Work On:
- Clinical Leadership: Serve as the clinical authority, providing strategic insights to inform product development decisions. Collaborate with senior product managers, R&D and cross-functional teams to ensure clinical input is integrated into all stages of development.
- Product Excellence: Ensure our products meet the highest clinical standards and align with workflow needs. Shape marketing materials to communicate a compelling clinical value proposition.
- Innovation and Optimization: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new clinical opportunities. Develop comprehensive internal and external toolkits to optimize clinical workflows.
- Data-Driven Insights: Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Strategic Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with external partners to drive future commercial success. Lead strategic initiatives, expanding existing partnerships and exploring new marketplaces.
- Health System Alignment: Work closely with health system leaders, including C-suite executives and clinical department chairs, to strategically advance product and service objectives, effectively resolving clinical issues to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Quality Reviews: Perform clinical quality reviews of criteria, workflows, and technical build.
- Clinical Education: Design and lead educational sessions for internal teams on relevant clinical content.

- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects effectively, prioritizing stakeholder needs and able to adapt to changing and emerging healthcare trends.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and execution of detailed, tactical actions to drive initiatives.
- Skills to interpret and communicate sophisticated clinical data, scenarios, and insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of healthcare strategy and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills to guide, influence, and motivate.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred; medical technology (MT) or certification as a clinical research associate (CCRA) or equivalent is desirable; applicable experience is acceptable as an alternate to education requirement.
- 10+ years of clinical experience after clinical training in related field.
- Expertise in cardiac anatomy and cardiovascular health practices.
- Training in heart failure, structural heart, and/or arrhythmia.
- 3+ years in building and/or delivering applicable products and services.
- Prior experience leading teams with direct reports and/or via matrix reporting structure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical degree in a clinical field (e.g. MD, PhD, MSN…)
- Current, valid license (NP, PA, MD, or DO) with a specialization in cardiology.

The base pay for this position is: $144,100.00 – $288,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
