Job Requirements / Description
This position has responsibility for the overall development, implementation and monitoring of training programs/workshops for new employees and employees requiring skill enhancements. Perform audit of employees’ mastery of skills to determine on-going training needs.  Prioritize training programs to comply with management requests and employee needs to maximize performance of MedVantx Pharmacy Services staff in delivering one-stop service to its customer base. Will serve as an audit proxy as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, revise and maintain training programs for all new hires at MedVantx, Inc.  Assist in new hire orientation and training of other affected departments.
  • Serves as the system administrator for the company Learning Management System. Consisting of adding and removing employees from the system and updating content in the system. Ensuring that applicable training is assigned and completed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for timely reporting of training and employee development programs to management.
  • Collaborates for development and maintenance of the MedVantx process and procedure manual. 
  • Serves as a proxy for compliance to conducts audits as needed
  • Coordinate targeted training to ensure that all applicable training objectives are met to ensure enhanced delivery of product knowledge to our customers.
  • Perform additional training development activities at MedVantx including management and employee development programs and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes.
  • Acts as in –house training “consultant” for management and staff designing training programs or processes.
  • Serve as the point of contact for client owned training and collaborates with the client and the Medvantx employee to ensure on time completion of training.
  • Responsible for all training programs developed and delivered at MedVantx.  This includes programs such as technical and skills training, technical documentation, management and organizational development, recruitment and employee relations management and organizational development, recruitment and employee relations functions.  Responsible for training results on a monthly basis to management.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with both internal and external customers.
  • Assist with all process improvement documentation and technical manuals with monthly reporting of outstanding procedures, technical manual updates and CQI team updates.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Other additional administrative duties as designed by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a business environment as a lead or training specialist. 
  • Minimum of two years as a training specialist in a business (customer service) environment including procedure manual development. 
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a pharmacy environment. 
  • Minimum of three years of experience with internal and external audits.
  • Minimum of three years of experience with process adherence.
  • Must have excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
  • Bachelor of Science or Business degree or related experience in a training and/or compliance capacity is required.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations with thorough knowledge gained in MedVantx services, products, operations and systems.
  • Ability to coordinate activities of subject and product experts and excel in a “train the trainer” environment.
  • Must possess a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High Level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Knowledge in mail-order pharmacy desired.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand and sit for long periods of time.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
  • Hybrid role based out of Sioux Falls, SD with the ability to go onsite at minimum two to three days a week or more if needed .
