Building Products Market Data Sales Representative

Overview

Home Innovation seeks a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to drive sales growth of its building products market demand data by engaging with potential and current customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. In this full-time, hybrid work environment role, you will collaborate closely with the Market Research team and contribute to building, maintaining, and nurturing strong relationships with the insights, analytics, and strategic management staff of Fortune 500 companies and others.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation

  • Identify and qualify new sales leads through research, direct outreach, and networking at construction industry events like the International Builders Show, Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, and others.

Customer and Prospect Engagement

  • Contact clients and prospects and conduct meetings to learn about their data and market insight needs; present virtual demonstrations of our building products market demand platform and tools.

Database Management and Reporting

  • Maintain and update customer information in our CRM system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Report weekly on sales activity measures and identify areas of improvement.

Collaborate and Follow-up

  • Work closely with the research team to align data platform offerings with customer needs. Regularly follow up with prospects and clients to nurture relationships and close sales.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field. Building product knowledge experience is a plus.


Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Results-driven with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Problem-solving, self-motivated, and organized multi-tasker with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
  • Able to conduct SWOT analysis of clients & prospects and create solutions that fulfill needs
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, active and empathetic listener, professional demeanor, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
