The Corporate Design Engineer will be a member of the Corporate Engineering Department. The Design Engineer will provide engineering services to support Projects for all manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of engineering innovation, leading the charge in a variety of essential tasks:
  • Conceptual & Detailed Engineering Designs: Craft visionary designs for Manufacturing Systems spanning Dairy Processes, Packaging Systems, Utility Systems, and Waste Treatment Systems. Your expertise will bring these concepts to life, from P&IDs to Equipment Layouts and Specifications.
  • Establishing Engineering Standards: Set the gold standard for excellence by creating and upholding company-wide Engineering Design Standards and Specifications. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure our projects are consistently on the cutting edge of industry innovation.
  • Project Management Mastery: Take the lead in Engineering Design and Equipment Procurement for a diverse range of projects, including Capital Expansion, Continuous Improvement, and Innovation Initiatives. From cost estimation to supplier evaluation and project proposals, your strategic insights will drive success at every stage.
Skills & Experience:
We're seeking a Corporate Design Engineer with a rich tapestry of skills and experiences, including:
  • Extensive Industry Experience: With a minimum of 7 years working in Engineering roles within the Food & Beverage or Consumer Goods Industry, you'll bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.
  • Design Proficiency: Your mastery of P&IDs, PFDs, and Equipment Floor Layouts will be second to none, enabling you to tackle even the most complex engineering challenges with confidence.
  • Equipment Design Expertise: From Packaging and Material Handling Equipment to Heat Exchangers, Pumps, and Valves, your detailed equipment design, specification, and selection skills will be instrumental in driving project success.
  • Sanitation Solutions: Your knowledge of Clean-in-Place (CIP) Systems and equipment sanitation will ensure our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Electrical Engineering Prowess: With a keen eye for detail, you'll excel in designing Electrical Conduit, Wiring, and Controls Architecture for Manufacturing Equipment, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Innovative Thinking: Your demonstrated intellectual curiosity, innovation, and initiative will set you apart, driving continuous improvement and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience in beverage or dairy products environment.
  • Flexibility for up to 50% travel, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in project environments across our diverse manufacturing facilities.
