Position - Windows- VMware Lead Consultant
Location - Lansing MI- Onsite
Duration - Fulltime Positions
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement VMware, VMware horizon view and windows server infrastructure solution.
• Perform upgradation/migration VMware and VMware horizon view.
• Engineering and implementing Active Directory, ,DNS,DHCP, GPO's
• Proficient on VMware technologies like vCenter, Update Manager, HA, DRS, VMotion, svMotion, Template & Cloning, etc.
• Automate upgradation/migration, remediation, jobs, report tasks by using creating PowerShell CLI script and PowerShell and Batch scripts .
• Drive RCA preparation and meeting SLA for RCA submission along with planning and implementing fixes/patches.
• Experience providing technical resolution to incident & problem events related to VDI Infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide junior members and system administrators on any incidents, escalations, and issues.
• Manage the SRM and DR setup and endure the service meets the defined RPO and RTO commitments.
• Oversee environments including planning upgrades, staying on top of EOL dates and documenting inter-dependencies.
• Use design skills to determine Technical Design Specifications for complex and high impact projects.
• Create all necessary documentation including system standards, run books, and more Research software solutions to meet our needs and create efficiencies.

Skills & Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Design and implement in VMware infrastructure, VMware horizon view VDI infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience doing POC, production rollout on VMware infrastructure, VMware horizon view VDI infrastructure
• Strong knowledge on Active directory, group, policy management
• Strong knowledge PowerShell and PowerShell CLI
• Good hands-on experience in automating upgradation/migration, remediation, jobs, report tasks by using creating PowerShell CLI script and PowerShell and Batch scripts
• Good hands-on experience on Active directory, DNS, Group policy management
