The Contract and Billing Supervisor assures that this mission is the foundation for the delivery of services and carrying out job duties.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee the contract and staff accreditation administration to ensure all contracts and grants are updated, invoiced, tracked, signed, communicated, properly reported and utilized optimally. In addition, this role will oversee the Billing and Authorization team to ensure claims are processed and paid in a timely manner. The role will report directly to the Director of Finance and Accounting.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Contract and Billing Supervisor will have multiple areas of focus including:

Billing and Revenue Collection:

  • Serve as the go-to expert for all coding and billing processes, guiding your team to achieve peak performance.
  • Oversee the entire billing cycle, from patient insurance documentation to collections, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step.
  • Stay ahead of industry changes, ensuring our operations align with Federal, State, and payer regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze billing trends, adjusting staff and procedures to maximize efficiency and revenue.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather necessary patient information and facilitate smooth billing processes.
  • Audit current procedures and implement new strategies to enhance the efficiency of our billing and collections operations.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate your team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with clinical staff and other departments to streamline coding procedures and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Manage and track payor contracts to ensure up to date compliance of Fora billing practices and work with payors as needed to negotiate rates.

SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS
Revenue Cycle Manager will directly oversee Contract & Billing supervisor and the Patient Intake Supervisor as well as support their staff as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years commensurate experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to recognize patterns.
  • Comfortable creating solutions when ambiguity exists.
  • Professional demeanor, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills including creativity, resourcefulness and timeliness.
  • Ability to organize time, set priorities and meet deadlines of conflicting demands.
  • Strong capability of working both independently and as a member of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of areas related to agency licensing and operations.
  • Demonstrates flexibility regarding job duties and assignments.
  • Special projects as required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Verification of Sobriety, per Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) standards.
  • DHS Background Check Approval.
  • Successful completion of Drug Test upon hire.
  • Documentation of Tuberculin test and/or evaluation with negative results or evidence of non-communicability.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position generally works in an indoor office environment with infrequent travel between sites or to special events.
