The Accountant position is accountable for the administrative, financial services and analysis to ensure a company's financial records are accurate.Essential Job FunctionsForecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investmentEnsure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirementsMaintain banking relationshipsMaintain credit rating agency relationshipsOversee the extension of credit to customersMaintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures, including a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities.TransactionsEnsure that accounts payable are paid in a timely mannerEnsure that all AR and AP entries are posted in a timely mannerEnsure that accounts receivable are collected promptlyEnsure that periodic bank reconciliations are completedMaintain the chart of accountsMaintain an orderly accounting filing systemMaintain a system of controls over accounting transactionsReportingIssue timely and complete financial statementsCoordinate the preparation of the corporate annual reportProvide for a system of management cost reportsComplianceCoordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual auditComply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsAdditional AccountabilitiesCoordinate the filing of quarterly and annual reports with State and Federal Authorities.Coordinate the filing of all bonds.Coordinate the filing of all corporate certifications and or renewals.Periodically updated in keeping with company requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience.Benefits: Salary Range with Dental Vision and Medical.
