Overview
Steampunk is seeking anITEngineertowork with theChief Information Officer (CIO) Teamtosupportand manage internalITinfrastructure and personnelITtechnologyrequirements as the company grows.
Contributions
- Manage and oversee new computer technology used by Steampunk employees
- Provide oversight for new hire orientations with newITtechnology configurations, software, and remote access
- Provide Tier II troubleshooting for Steampunk technology hardware and software issues and escalate with IT team and vendors, as needed
- Organize and monitor Steampunk technology assets in Azure Entra/Intune/Jamf and inventory applications
- Lead IT projects to completion including requirements gathering, procurement, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Enforce SteampunkITpolicies and configurations with all deployedITtechnology
- Document processes and knowledgebase articles for the CIO Team and Steampunk employees
- Participate in CIO Team Agile Sprints to accomplish quarterly goals
- Management of junior level IT support Tier 1 employee(s) and Steampunk intern tasks
- Provide integration support for Steampunk cloud projects
- Provide backup assistance to AV and AV related events
- Assist the security team with forensic investigations
- Work with theCIO Teamto test, deploy, and troubleshoot new technologies and applications
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- 2+ years experience with help desksupportactivities and/or Windows/MacOS desktop troubleshooting and configurations
- Ability to install and configure Windows 10/11, MacOS, and iOS operating systems on laptops and devices
- Manage user and computer accounts in Microsoft Azure Active Directory
- Hardware and software procurement experience
- Ability to integrate and troubleshoot technology with printers, conference room AV connections, Teams calls, remote access to Steampunk cloud systems
- Ability to integrate and test software applications
- Experience with troubleshooting Microsoft (Office) 365 applications
- Possess good communication skills and the ability work directly with Steampunk employees and contractors to troubleshootITissues
Preferred Skills:
- Azure Active Directory/Intune integration experience
- FreshService or similarITticketing system experience
- Audio and Video experience
- Experience with the Slack and Microsoft Teams application
- Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
- Help desk personnel management
- Microsoft and/or Apple certifications are a plus
