POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is for highly organized and customer-centric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience is an asset, but not required - basic construction skills are necessary. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast growing company.
House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvement service company specializing in both large and small jobs in the St Charles County, West County, MO and nearby areas. We are looking for energetic and friendly people who enjoy working on various home repair and remodel projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, siding, doors, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete handyman and home remodel jobs, such as drywall, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, remodels, doors, siding, deck/fence, etc.
- Organize and manage equipment and materials required to complete daily tasks
- Deliver excellent work and customer experience on each job
- Work with management and team members on achieving team and company goals
- Represent House Doctors in the local community, and network with potential customers as needs arise
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of construction experience with multiple skills (siding, commercial maintenance experience are a plus!)
- Hands-on knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the home repair and remodel industry
- Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems
- Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
- A strong work ethic and highly dependable
- Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
- Valid driver's license
- Background and reference checks are required
