Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Network Engineer in South Burlington, VT; Camp Springs, MD ; or in a location to be determined upon offer acceptance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Implement automation tools and frameworks
  2. Create documentation supporting automation processes and tools
  3. Evaluate, implement and streamline DevOps practices
  4. Design and implement the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline throughout USCIS-controlled on-premise locations.
  5. Design and implement automation in the build process for on-prem and cloud instances
  6. Provide guidance for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
  7. Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
  8. Establish troubleshooting techniques and fix code bugs
  9. Work with Product owner and team to understand processes and identify areas of automation for improvement
  10. Encourage and build automated processes when possible
  11. Mentor and provide guidance and support to engineer teams with automation improvements, troubleshooting, and capabilities
  12. Collaborate and cross coordinate with other teams to encourage utilization of automation processes and techniques
  13. Promote automation utilization to other teams to assist in identifying problems and solutions
  14. Force configuration through compliance remediation
  15. Streamline internal solution processes and remove repetitive tasks by automating and orchestrating techniques to reduce resource constraints and remove human error
  16. Use Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Teams to provide transparency and allow information to be visible in real time and to create a unified backlog ensuring visibility into all areas of work and identifying inter-dependencies between teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of relevant networking experience.
  2. Possess working knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
  3. Possess working knowledge of Automation Testing process utilizing code and best practice tools.
  4. Strong experience in operating environment and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Perl, etc.)
  5. Building strong cross-functional leadership skills and working together with operations, deployment, and engineering teams.
  6. Familiarity with ITIL, DevSecOps, and Agile concepts.
  7. Experience configuring Cisco IOS/NXOS, Meraki, and Juniper.
  8. Experience handling automated deployment CI/CD tools
  9. Ability to review deployment and delivery pipelines (i.e., implement initiatives to minimize chance to failure, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues)
  10. Experience collaborating with other roles such as solution architects, data engineers, software engineers, deployment engineers, etc.
  11. Experience with API Integration
  12. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
  13. Must have strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills
  14. Possess superior technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  2. Familiar with tools including: ServiceNow, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Ansible Automation Platform
  3. Experience with ITIL, DevSecOps and Agile concepts
  4. Experience supporting Government contracts

Clearance Requirements:

  1. U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust and complete DHS Security Clearance
  2. Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability
  3. Current DHS EOD highly preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.

The projected compensation range for this position is $122,600.00-$204,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
