Supply Chain Analyst

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Supply Chain Analyst for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare clients in Chicago, IL .
Responsibilities :

• Continuously monitors inventory for appropriate minimum/maximum re-order values with consideration for fluctuating market demands, clinical usage trends and seasonal impact to ensure inventory availability.
• Manages back-orders and out of stocks in accordance with the departmental policy and procedures.
• Continuously analyze inventory usage (turns) to increase inventory turnover and reduce/eliminate stock with usage not meeting shelf value criteria.
• Review daily re-orders of automated re-supply process to ensure all transactions with identified vendors occurred. Corrective actions are taken as required including expediting shipment of product.
• Work with the Inventory Manager to address recall notices in a timely manner and ensure proper communication occurs according to the appropriate policy and procedure.
• Expedites invoicing for payment by Accounts Payable in ongoing and timely manner.
• ssists manager with year-end inventory process and warehouse preparation.
• Provides coverage to Inventory Manager and Coordinator as needed.

Required Skills :

• One year work experience in a related healthcare or service industry field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively and exhibit good oral and written skills.
• bility to plan daily personal time management and long-term strategies through fiscal budget year activities.
• bility to analyze, compose and articulate business opportunities and recommend best proactive outcomes for Warehouse Inventory.
• Prior experience with data inquiry, data entry and P.C. operations. Requires sound math and inquisitive skills resolving system(s) and inventory related issues.
• High school degree or equivalent
