Pure Storage Acquired Portworx in October 2020, Creating the Industry's Most Complete Kubernetes Data Services Platform for Cloud Native Applications. This acquisition represents Pure’s largest to date and our deeper expansion into the fast-growing market for multi-cloud data services to support Kubernetes and containers.
Position Overview:
As part of the Evergreen//One Product Management team, you are responsible for the evolution of the Evergreen//One Storage-as-a-Service business – from driving adoption, growth, and efficiency to developing new offerings and motions. The role requires strong business acumen and the ability to build a sound P&L to effectively drive both the top line and bottom line. The ideal candidate has diverse experience including product management, GTM strategy, financial modeling, cross-functional processes, and operations.
As part of your responsibilities you will:
- Define the evolution of the Evergreen//One offering, including product roadmap, value differentiation, and growth vectors.
- Drive the execution of this strategy, working cross-functionally to build a high-growth business with a focus on both top and bottom line (P&L management).
- Develop efficient, scalable, measurable service delivery processes and tools.
- Collaborate with customers, partners, and the sales and marketing teams to identify, define, and articulate a winning go-to-market model.
- Own the enablement of Pure’s sales teams and partners.
- Understand and address key issues, needs, and trends in the install base as you capture ongoing customer and sales feedback.
- Assess the competitive and market landscape and accurately predict trends.
- Create and deliver both business and technical presentations to customers, partners, and a wide array of Puritans as a key spokesperson for the product.
- Be a trusted strategic adviser for the Pure executive team.
Responsibilities:
- 7+ Years of Product Management or Consulting experience.
- Good understanding of business with strong acumen and the ability to think analytically.
- Bachelor's degree minimum. MBA is a plus.
- Experience in as-a-Service or cloud-oriented models.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, and communication skills.
- Creativity, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills.
- Understanding of market, competitive analysis, and comparable businesses.
- Comfort in delivering compelling presentations to internal and external audiences as a strategic leader.
Qualifications:
As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
Pay Range:
USD $190,000.00 - USD $284,000.00 /Yr.
Pay Transparency Statement:
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
