About the Role:

Position: Solution Architect

Location: Sheffield

Mode: Hybrid - 3 days from office

Type: FTE for 12 Months

Responsibilities:

  • The Solution Architect role is responsible for delivering architecture and solution designs to ensure business outcomes are met. They will be reporting into the Global Head of GRC systems with accountability for end-to-end delivery for the ORR service line.
  • Excellent understanding of the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and target operating models, and how to relate this to an architecture roadmap.
  • Solid understanding of general architectural concepts, principles, governance, and best practices.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as Financial Compliance, Operational Risk Management, Model Risk Management, and Regulatory Change Management.
  • Direct experience of working closely with business stakeholders to translate business strategies and target operating models into functional architecture and systems roadmaps.
  • Experience of project delivery using Agile or Iterative methodologies and frameworks, including DevOps.
  • Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent analytical and strategy skills, able to see the bigger picture.
  • Good understanding of the project development lifecycle and project management and planning, with experience in managing the architectural elements of a project plan.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior leaders across the business.
