DutiesData Collection and Analysis: Lead qualitative evaluation projects tailored to specific programs such as conducting listening sessions, conducting secondary analyses of qualitative data, and/or managing qualitative data sets Conduct interviews, focus groups, and/or listening sessions to collect qualitative data Analyze and synthesize qualitative data to identify themes and actionable insightsProgram Evaluation: Provide subject matter expertise and technical assistance in program evaluation to various audiences. Monitor progress toward public health goals and performance metrics.Policy Development and Analysis: Provide evidence-based recommendations for policy improvements or new initiatives. Collaborate with policymakers to develop health policies as needed.Report Writing and Presentation: Prepare evaluation reports presenting findings in multiple formats (e.g., written reports, presentations) to various audiences.QualificationsBachelors degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or related fields with two (2) to four (4) years of experience. Strong qualitative evaluation skills Ability to lead and execute all stages of an evaluation, including planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting Experience with qualitative coding and analysis using NVivo and/or MaxQDA Experience leading focus groups, interviews, and/or listening sessions Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines at once Experience with Indigenous Evaluation methodologiesPreferred Qualifications: Masters degree in a relevant field with up to two (2) years of experience. Experience supporting federal or state government agencies, particularly public-health focused agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
