Oracle OMS Techno-Functional Consultant

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

1. 8 to 10 years of experience in Utility Distribution management systems, outage management systems & ADMS.
2. Experience in Oracle Network Management System for configurations & customizations.
3. Experience working with Weblogic latest versions and Linux servers.
4. Experience in support projects; flexibility to work second shift and weekly on-call.
5. Experience applying patches and vulnerabilities remediation for OMS applications.
6. Strong functional/technical knowledge of Electrical or Power systems Industry with a good understanding of unbalanced load flow, fault analysis, and system optimization algorithms and business processes of the utilities industry.
7. Proven customer-facing experience within professional service organizations; ability to understand business requirements and prepare functional & technical design documents.
8. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle; experience in application design and development methodology.
9. Experience in integration with SCADA, GIS, CIS, and other utility software.
10. Analytical skills to identify issues and the ability to find solutions.
11. Preferable technical capabilities in Java, J2EE, XML, SOA technologies, Oracle XAI, etc., and experience with building custom solutions.
