Description/Notes: The overall purpose of the Executive Director is to provide leadership and guidance for core and advanced academic programs by ensuring alignment to district goals centered on student success districtwide. The Executive Director is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the curriculum and instruction department which includes the selection of instructional resources and course materials, creating and implementing content curriculum, instructional planning and support, and assessment development and administration. The Executive Director of Core Curriculum and Advanced Academics is also responsible for C & I related professional development, personnel hiring, program evaluation, and targeted coaching support for campus leaders.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or Curriculum and Instruction.
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate.
