Responsibilities
  • Audit's paperwork generated by all gaming outlets, cage, soft count, and other revenue generating outlets and conducts investigation into variances.
  • Review's casino documents for gaming regulation violations and procedural deficiencies and works with casino departments to correct those deficiencies.
  • Generates financial reports reflecting revenue for use by management in determining operational direction.
  • Prepares and enters general ledger accounting entries.
  • Ability to create or modify auditing spreadsheets as required.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in applying audit principles, skills and techniques in audit testing of varying degrees of complexity.
  • Consistently document relevant facts and information which support the work performed and conclusions drawn. So other reviewers can follow the auditor's logic and methodology.
  • Use Windows, Excel, Word and other computer software.
  • Learns, comprehends and complies with Company policies and procedures, MICS, Gaming Regulation and Title 31 requirements.

  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • One-year of college level accounting courses and two years of audit experience directly related to the responsibilities noted above. Strong knowledge of Gaming and Non-Gaming Audits.
  • Must have strong computer experience, including the use of spreadsheets and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to use10-Key by touch.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, discounts, interest and commissions to practical solutions.
  • Ability to read and understand technical procedures and government regulations.
  • Ability to write business correspondence, documentation and routine procedures.
  • Ability to effectively present information, verbally and in written form, and respond to questions from managers, clients and customers.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with department heads and employees.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills in solving practical problems with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of general business administration including personnel practices and employment laws, general accounting practices.
  • Skills in identifying and resolving administrative problems under pressure conditions.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentially with strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
  • Proven intermediate skills in Windows, MS Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and experience with database systems. Ability to prepare reports, correspondence, charts, forms and other information and instructions.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
