The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) located in Cleveland, Ohio, is searching for a Senior Programmer Analyst to join our Information Technology Division.
Duties:
- Design, develop, maintain, and support various interfaces for Oracle EBS modules, and other applications using diversified languages, tools and platforms
- Actively participate in implementing advanced software applications
- Actively participate in the patch/upgrade/enhancement tasks of Oracle application modules and database
- Provide technical support along with testing, troubleshooting and documentation
- Manage/Lead technical projects with diversified skills in multiple programming languages, platforms, tools, and technologies while collaborating with Management Information Services (MIS) team and SMEs from other departments to satisfy GCRTA’s business needs
- Train Applications team, MIS and IT staff, and functional end users when needed
- Promote a safe and secure atmosphere, follow all safety and security rules, and perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or a related field with a concentration in Computer Programming, Database, and Software Application Development
- Master’s Degree is a plus
- Applicants must have Seven (7) to Nine (9) years of experience with Computer Programming in Various Languages, Databases, Software Applications and Tools, Application Development and Security, Troubleshooting, End User Documentation, Support and Training, Managing/Leading Technical Projects etc.
- Experience with Oracle EBS applications and tools in OCI or Cloud is a plus
- Applicants must have excellent oral and written communication skills

Selection Process: This is a Non-Bargaining exempt level position. Merit system rules do not apply. No eligible list will be established. These may include exercises such as practical demonstrations, written communications, oral interviews and/or competency assessments.
