- We are looking for a qualified Content manager to join our team. You will be responsible for creating, improving, maintaining and testing content to achieve our business goals. Your duties will also include creating basic HTML within our front-end framework.
- Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a strong understanding of front-end development as it pertains to content management. As a Content Manager, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to oversee all marketing & merchandising content initiatives to ensure engagement, brand consistency and a positive user experience.
- Will report to the Senior Manager, Digital Creative.
- This is contract only with the opportunity for extension.
- Looking for someone who is local to NYC and could go onsite as needed. Additional candidate will be considered who offer a strong portfolio.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborating with Marketing, UX, Design & Development teams to understand and implement key objectives stated on creative requests.
- Delivering completed tasks on time, ensuring they are executed with consistency and on brand.
- Content management within Client's Magnolia CMS; must be comfortable hand-coding in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Ability to translate Photoshop designs to code, with a high degree of visual accuracy.
- Stay up to date with developments and generate new ideas.
Requirements:
- Expert background in HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite.
- Proven CMS experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in eCommerce development preferred.
- 3+ years of web development experience and content management production with solid understanding of the standard principles and best practices of website design, usability and working within brand guidelines.
- Experience working in cross-functional corporate teams and managing multiple projects from start to finish.
- Detail and multi-task oriented; ability to organize and prioritize workload.
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Current with emerging web industry innovations.
