Job Requirements / Description
This associate will spend his/her day performing returns processing by the Department Manager or Supervisor. These positions will answer directly to the Production Supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability and knowledge to complete all the Processing and Packing job functions.
- Complete understanding of all processes throughout the Operations department to include but not limited to Receiving, Preprocessing returns Storage (FIFO) and Processing.
- Verify that all Processors are doing their prospective job tasks accurately.
- Monitoring the day-to-day production requirements to achieve production.
- Plan to ensure products meet all established quality requirements and Processors are achieving their required productivity metrics.
- Conduct coaching conversations to improve individuals' performance when performance falls below 95% of goal.
- Document all such coaching and forward to the Sr. Operations Manager.
- Verify and monitor all training for Processing and document such training with Processor 2
- Motivate team to hit their performance metrics.
- Lead training activities of new team members.
- Champion the company values always.
- Complete compliance with laws and regulations.
- Suggest process improvements to management.
- Support management in all decisions on the floor.
- Proven leadership ability and/or prior experience leading a team
- 2-5 years processing experience
- Must be dependable, reliable, detail oriented and able to follow directions
- Training experience with successful results, demonstrated by new hire success
- Ability to lead by example and exceed performance metrics
- Computer literate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Demonstrate ability to function, with a positive attitude, in a high-performance work team environment
- HS diploma or equivalent
