Our role:

The Business Solutions Consultant (US) is responsible for providing expert business, technical knowledge, and implementation support on the 3Sixty solution. This includes supporting direct customers and our partner community. The Business Solutions Consultant (US) is aligned to global and regional geographic licence revenue budgets and results.

This role reports to the Global Vice President, Content Solutions (Australia) and does not have people management responsibilities.

A day in your role:

  • Provide technical solution leadership for our customers and sales opportunities through building an understanding of their business and alignment to our solution capability, with a focus on discovering business drivers and challenges.
  • Provide pre-sales support for direct sales (both Objective and partners), which will include a contribution to tender responses, discovery and planning sessions, software demonstrations, proof of concepts, and pilots.
  • Be the Business Solution lead in North America and surrounding markets focused on Federated Information Governance, the data fabric and leveraging AI.
  • Support the direct sales in our partners to develop appropriate pipelines to achieve current and future year’s software revenue quota.
  • Develop and maintain compelling demonstrations of Objective 3Sixty solution offering, tailored as appropriate to relevant customer and prospect use cases.
  • Provide core technical knowledge and experience in Objective’s solutions and have an excellent understanding of the information management marketplace and a sound understanding of technology directions.
  • Assist our team in building and validating a solid understanding of our solution capability.
  • Provide technical leadership to support the establishment and development of partner capability in Objective technology and solutions.
  • Provide support to Project Managers during the initiation of new projects to ensure the successful handover from Business Solutions to Implementation.
  • Provide a conduit role in passing market requirements back to Objective product development.

Your skills, experience and beyond:

  • Significant experience in providing business analysis, conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, and conducting presentations is highly desirable.
  • Practical experience in successfully implementing solutions or supporting sales processes into a business for a vendor/consulting firm over the last three years.
  • Strong sales experience, ideally having used structured selling approaches.
  • The ability to become a technical expert in the 3Sixty solution and have an understanding of the Objective Content Solutions portfolio when relevant.
  • Competent in working with JavaScript, databases, Elastic Search (similar search), integrations, document management systems, records management systems, file transfer and more.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with customers and their technical teams, build custom demonstrations and resolve technical issues in the demonstration system.
  • Understanding and experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning.
  • Support, maintain and update demonstration systems in Windows and Linux.
  • Good understanding of business processes and practices in one or more of the following industry segments: government agencies at all levels, regulated industries such as finance and health, and organizations that utilize secure and sensitive content.
