Who We Want on Our Team: We are looking for a Recruiter who is passionate about driving our growth by attracting and hiring the right talent. You’ll work closely with our leadership to ensure that we have a robust pipeline of candidates, helping us meet the demands of our rapid expansion. You should have a strong understanding of the electrical contracting industry and a keen ability to source and recruit top talent quickly and efficiently. We need someone who can assist in building a team that will propel Chesapeake Electric’s continued success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Proactively managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires.
• Partnering with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Utilizing job boards, social media, networking events, and industry contacts to source and attract qualified candidates.
• Conducting interviews, screening candidates, and evaluating cultural and technical fit for open positions.
• Providing an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
• Collaborating with the HR team to ensure a seamless hiring process, including background checks and offer management.
• Ensuring all recruitment activities align with Chesapeake Electric's values and growth objectives.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful Day One:

• Experience in recruitment, preferably within the electrical contracting or construction industries.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building and collaboration.
• A deep understanding of hiring trends and strategies in the trades and skilled labor sectors.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in Human Resources is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality.
