Job Summary:
This position is based in Syracuse, NY.
The IT Program Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of large projects across the Information Management & Technology Department. This individual would likely have some involvement with our drone program as well as other advance technology programs. This program will require undivided attention to project planning, execution and relationship managing with internal and external customers. A dedicated Program Manager is necessary to coordinate and manage all of this, as well as the IMT infrastructure changes necessary for successful completion and maintenance of this high-profile project.
Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Project management, programming, analysis, design, testing, documentation, and project stake holder communication.
- Assess, prioritizes and assigns new tasks for assigned projects in accordance with IMT strategic plan, regulatory requirements, patient care/safety and or financial initiatives.
- Provide task schedule and level of effort estimates; document assumptions.
- Assist in the analysis and formulation of system requirements including new applications and change requests and communicating those requests to Information Management and Technology and/or vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 -7 years relevant information systems experience (Healthcare Environment preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior project management experience in healthcare information systems.
