Under general supervision, applies acquired skills as a revenue cycle analyst to complete projects of moderate scope and complexity.
Charge Review Responsibilities and Duties:
- Examines and evaluates research related charges for appropriate routing and consistent routing for billing with guidelines and documentation protocols prescribed in the CA (Coverage Analysis).
- Utilizes knowledge of various systems - including but not limited to:
- EPIC, government websites, and/or non-government websites and any other information systems needed during detailed follow-up.
- Microsoft Word, EXCEL, Outlook, APEX, Payor Web Portals, MedAssets, government and/or non-government websites, and any other information systems which would be required for insurance eligibility, benefit verification or other information needed during detailed follow-up.
Other duties as assigned.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $69,900 - $104,800 (Annual Rate).
