Position Summary:
The Human Resources (HR) Support will undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. They will help facilitate HR functions including recruiting, employee onboarding, and employment verification. This role involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline, improve our sourcing tactics, as well as inputting and verifying forensic data on Airtable and scanning proofs. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. They will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of Recruiting and Data entry. To succeed in this role, they should have familiarity with HR/Recruitment best practices, be detail oriented, and comfortable learning
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
HR Support

Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and requests, providing assistance and escalating to appropriate team members when necessary.

Support the recruitment/hiring process by posting positions, sourcing and reviewing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.

Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team’s agenda

Perform orientations, support employee onboarding and update records with new hires

Produce and submit reports on general HR activity

Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
Data Entry Specialist

Accurately input and update call log documentation in AirTable, ensuring all required billing information is captured.

Collaborate with staff to track incoming calls through the answering service and automated dispatch, ensuring timely responses and documentation of service types.

Process and maintain records for blood draws, including details such as date, CPT name, agency case number, and officer information.

Document reasons for any non-completion of blood draws and note relevant details regarding late response times or location changes.

Collect and file necessary paperwork, including BayAreaPLS forms and any county-specific documentation, ensuring proper copies are sent to the crime lab and retained for records.

Regularly verify and audit records for consistency and adherence to protocol.

Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate before submission to maintain compliance with agency standards and billing accuracy.

Review and organize photographs taken during blood draws and sexual assault exams, ensuring proper upload via the call link.

Support other functions as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a recruiter, HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position

Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices

Experience or ability to learn HR databases and HRIS systems (e.g. Rippling, UKG Ready, Airtable, Google suite etc.)

In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities

Familiarity with social media recruiting

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle data with confidentiality

Ability to utilize software tools (e.g., AirTable, google suite) for data management and reporting, ensuring efficient information retrieval and processing.

Excellent organizational and time management skills
