We are seeking a seasoned Senior Communications Consultant to support our pharma client during a drug launch.


Role Overview: The consultant will play a critical role in developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy for these rare disease products. This includes external and internal communications materials, all while ensuring alignment with brand teams and navigating the unique requirements of the renal landscape.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan.
  • Create press releases, PowerPoint presentations, social media content, and internal communications to support the renal portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with the communications and brand teams to ensure consistency and alignment with overall company messaging.
  • Stay up to date with and provide guidance on FDA approval processes, including FDA Advisory Committee meetings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate complex medical and scientific information clearly to diverse audiences, including internal stakeholders and the public.


Must Haves:

  • Proven experience in communications within the rare diseases space, ideally with a focus on the renal landscape.
  • Strong familiarity with FDA approval processes and experience with FDA Advisory Committee meetings.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different platforms and audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.


Timeline:

  • Project Start Date: January 2, 2024
  • End Date: April 2025 (extension unlikely)


Location:

  • Remote position; however, availability to work on U.S. East Coast time is required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is dependent on your experience. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
