We are seeking an ASIC Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and integration of custom microelectronics in support of critical missions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and FPGA implementation. This role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting experimental tests, and providing technical support. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical and programmatic assessments of microelectronics technologies
  • Collaborate with government, industry, and academic stakeholders
  • Provide occasional technical and field support if needed
  • Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results for next-generation components selection
  • Interact with customers, suppliers, and peer groups
  • Occasional travel and work at remote sites may be required
  • Provide status reports to project managers

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a TS clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience in relevant technical discipline
  • Expertise in DSP, FPGA implementation, and microchip EDA tools
  • Experience in at least one area of microelectronics hardware subject matter expertise
  • Additional experience in hardware programming and related tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hardware test and measurement
  • Familiarity with various interfaces
