Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Louisville, Kentucky and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Cloud and On-Premises technologies with Agile, Scrum and Waterfall Methodologies to lead information technology projects including large scale distributed systems and consumer facing applications that are highly secure, resilient, and scalable;
  • Managing teams that participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design including scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, and defining support procedures, utilizing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and proficient in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall in delivery methodologies;
  • Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedule and deliverables for clients using Microsoft (MS) Project Plan, MS Planner and Asana and performing Effective Change Management;
  • Defining performance measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on stakeholders’ discussions, data, and trend analysis using Python Libraries on Anaconda Navigator, MS Excel, Tableau, Asana, Salesforce and Amazon QuickSight;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Joint Application Design sessions, Business Process Model Diagrams, System Context Diagrams, Functional Decomposition Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, User Stories and Storyboards, and Technical & Functional Design Documents;
  • Managing business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation utilizing Jira, MS Team Foundation Server (TFS), MS SharePoint, Figma, and InVision workflows;
  • Leading development, testing and deployment, utilizing AWS and Azure for Cloud, Public Cloud, and On-Premises Infrastructures for testing, using Unit, Integration, User Acceptance, Security, and Performance Testing methods with automated CI/CD pipelines or manual deployment activities;
  • Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and managing the scope using Risks, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies (RAID) Framework to perform Quantitative, Qualitative, Vulnerability-Based, and Threat-Based Risk Assessments.
