Manager, Home Equity Processing

The Home Equity Processing Manager will oversee a team of Processors and Production Assistants. The Processing Manager will direct the daily work and production of the team to ensure service level commitment and member satisfaction. This role is key in providing coaching and development for the team.

Direct Report: Assistant Manager Processing, Processors, Production Assistants

Location: Hybrid- Columbia Office

TOP JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide guidance, training, development, and coaching to the team.
  • Responsible for administrative duties including approving timecards, reviewing leave requests, and maintaining remote rotation for Production Assistants.
  • Manage daily communication to support Processing challenges and questions.
  • Oversee production by utilizing reporting to ensure Processors are meeting their daily expectations and SLAs.
  • Manage Production Assistant workloads to ensure timely processing of member documents and vendor orders.
  • Assist with member and partner escalations.

Other responsibilities and opportunities:

  • Review surveys and member feedback to develop and implement action plans.
  • Facilitate relationship meetings with external vendors, Partners and S3 leadership.
  • Collaborate with staff to look for resolutions on streamlining processes.
  • Responsible for workforce planning to ensure sufficient workload coverage.
  • Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 4 years of work experience in home lending or the banking industry required.
  • 3 years of management or leadership experience required.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Outlook). Basic functions in Excel.
  • Loan Origination System experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence.

  • Salary commensurate with experience with an expected range of $70,000-$85,000 per year.

Work Environment - This position operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filling cabinets and fax machines.
