The team consists of members with cross-functional skills such as frontend programmers, backend programmers, QA programmers, and DevOps specialists, all working together to deliver the mandate of the team.

In this role you will:

  • Ensure that the team delivers the required features on time, and with top quality. You will schedule tasks and assign them, as well as organize how they get done and follow-up on their progress.
  • Do a lot of feature scoping and estimations, with the help of programmers and other colleagues.
  • Communicate regularly with your team members, providing feedback and evaluating their performance.
  • Engage with producers, product managers, and other stakeholders, keeping them informed of the status, progress, scope, and risks related to backend features.
  • Perform technical tasks, supporting and challenging the technical director and team members in design and implementation decision making.

What we're looking for:

  • Prior people management experience having led at least one programming team.
  • Experience as a lead programmer of web services is a big plus.
  • Prior experience as a programmer of web services is a must. A strong understanding of cloud computing services (AWS, GCP) is also required.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Solution-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
