We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is vital in assessing and improving our systems to ensure they meet organizational standards and client needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess current systems, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
  • Design, upgrade, and maintain systems while brainstorming future improvements.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, management, and IT staff during system creation and maintenance.
  • Create control features to ensure systems meet the organization's quality standards.
  • Engage in quality control procedures to maintain system efficiency and operational integrity.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to develop cost-efficient systems for various projects.
  • Ensure maximum operational efficiency across manufacturing and distribution processes.
  • Travel to program sites as required for project support.
  • Primarily remote work arrangement with occasional need for in-person meetings in the DC, MD, and VA area and potential for short term travel to program sites

Required Qualifications :

  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • BA/BS degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience leading projects in systems engineering or a related skill area.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
