Senior Front End Developer

We are a fast-moving, growing company with a serious need to build on our strong team. We are looking for a Senior Front End Developer for our Rosemont location.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front End Developer to join our dynamic team at Jobba Trade Technologies. As a Senior Front End Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of high-quality, user-friendly interfaces for our SaaS products. You will work closely with our design, product, and backend teams to create seamless and visually appealing user experiences.

Responsibilities include:

Design and Development

1. Design, build, and oversee the implementation of UI software that meets business requirements and objectives.
2. Design systems to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
3. Implement security best practices and ensure that software architectures comply with relevant security standards and regulations.

Technical Expertise

1. Provide technical expertise in terms of the software user interface, supporting other developers, making smart technology decisions, and fostering a culture of learning and growth within the organization.
2. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by staying updated with the latest industry trends and incorporating new technologies and methodologies.
3. Define technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for coding, design, and technology stack usage.
4. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

1. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including back end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
2. Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
3. Work with QA teams to ensure software quality and reliability.
4. Work with DevOps to perform security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.

5. Hands-on senior developer with experience/ability to manage technical teams, drive delivery, set direction and ensure client satisfaction.
6. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills – ability to understand business needs, identify and explain solutions, provide alternatives, etc.

Knowledge & Experiences

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 6+ years of experience in software development on SaaS enterprise projects.
3. Solid experience in leading/managing technical software design and development.
4. Experience implementing and maintaining enterprise web applications including batch processing in languages Angular JS version 9+, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, CSS, HTML, Static code analysis, and automatic build framework.
5. Knowledge of back-end languages and related frameworks: (e.g., C#, .Net, Node.js, Python).
6. Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
7. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
