KeyLogic is actively seeking a Lead Architect to support the Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) within the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS).


The Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) is the lead entity within the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for biometric identity management, providing information technology to store, match, and analyze biometric data, which is linked to biographic data to provide person-centric, actionable information in support of the DHS Strategic Mission. In support of DHS OBIM, KeyLogic is looking for a Lead Architect to direct the identification of the target architecture for technical solutions to include the software, hardware, and communications to support cross functional, security, and interoperability requirements.


Required Qualifications:


  1. Minimum 10 years relevant cloud and on-premises architecture experience for large scale information technology and database systems comprised of a multi-tier architecture and the integration of highly complex commercial software products and custom code in GO, C++, JAVA, and PL/SQL programming languages.
  2. In-depth knowledge/expertise in executing the SELC or equivalent lifecycle process, agile methodologies, and DevOps methodologies.

Desired Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor's degree or higher.
  2. Experience within the DHS Biometrics community or Interagency Biometrics stakeholders is preferred.
  3. Development experience in GO, C++, JAVA, and PL/SQL programming languages.

Clearance:


  1. US Citizenship Required.
  2. DHS Suitability preferred.
  3. Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.

Place of Performance:


  1. Remote but MUST reside in the DC area (Fort Belvoir, VA), with periodic local travel to DHS, and OBIM facilities within the National Capital Region.
