Description
To perform on-site and centralized management support, compliance, administrative and operational duties for the Affordable Housing department.

Requirements
PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITES

  1. Send and receive fax verifications for new tenant move ins and annual recertifications.
  2. Organizes, updates, and maintains department documents and reporting systems.
  3. Provides direct administrative support to Program Director.
  4. Prepare and send 120,90,60-day annual recertification notification letters.
  5. Schedule new tenant move ins and recertifications.
  6. Verifies billings, statements and invoices from vendors and service providers and processes department purchase orders following Fiscal department schedule.
  7. Collect rent checks from properties on a biweekly schedule and process per Fiscal department guidelines.
  8. Perform background checks, including credit screenings, for new tenants.
  9. Perform data entry of applicant information in appropriate databases to maintain program compliance.
  10. Update applicant waiting list and advertising on a weekly basis.
  11. Perform pre-qualification of applicants via phone call.
  12. Attend trainings as required to maintain HUD compliance or directed and approved by Program Director.
  13. Maintains office equipment and supply inventory.
  14. Assists Director in the preparation of reports and participates in projects as required by program.
  15. Provides other departmental administrative support as directed by the Program Director.

  7. Communicate proactively with the supervisor regarding workflow, problems, suggestions, etc.
  8. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment; and attend team and staff meetings as scheduled.
  9. Be punctual for scheduled work, use time appropriately, and complete work in a timely fashion with minimal errors.
