CHEVO is hiring experienced Federal Accounting Consultants to join our expanding firm. Qualified candidates will have excellent client facing communications skills and knowledge of Federal business process. Responsible for gathering information, performing analysis, and defining business practices using MS Office. Performs research and identifies potential problems and recommends solutions. Ideal candidates will bring knowledge of and experience in Federal Financial Management, project management, internal control and audit readiness. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Document policies and procedures
- Assist in coordinate accounting projects including tracking for external audit requests
- Communicate with stakeholders
- Accountable for the timely and quality submission of deliverables
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
- Six (6+) years total work experience
- Four (4+) years of financial experience
- Experience with Federal Financial systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along with analytical and briefing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Project and PowerPoint
