Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board!Why you'll love this jobThis job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Supply Chain DivisionResponsible for both traditional and cloud-based infrastructure implementations based on designs from infrastructure architectsWhat you'll doBuild end-to-end monitoring infrastructure (Logging, Metrics, Tracing) and work closely with other Product Teams to provide the right tooling to measure the reliability of our systemsCollaborate with development and operations teams to ensure availability and reliability of applications, hardware and infrastructureManage physical servers, virtual machines (VMs), network equipment, hardware control systems, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs)Administrate SQL Server instances for backups, restores, data purges, and failoversEfficiently handle live production incidents, debug/troubleshoot application, hardware and infrastructure related issues and implement SRE best practicesImplement and improve on continuous integration / continuous deployment automation using DevOps toolsFacilitate incident management, post-incident reviews, and remediation tasks to reduce the frequency and severity of incidentsAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience4 years of experience in software engineering, SRE or performance engineering role2 years of experience in Azure cloud architecture, networking, security and administrationProficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar, with demonstrated experience in software development or coding-related projects.Expertise in Terraform and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHubExperience with Event Hub client configuration and monitoringExperience with SQL Server and Mongo databasesHands-on expertise with monitoring and logging tools such as DynaTrace, Mezmo, LogInsight, ThousandEyes etc.Knowledge of Kubernetes and Kafka is a plusPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceAirline Industry experiencePrevious automated warehouse/supply chain experienceSkills, Licenses & CertificationsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesWhat you'll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
