Your job in the role as a Senior Wealth Advisor is to work closely with clients in conjunction with the existing primary Advisor/Managing Director/Partner to clients in delivering high-touch service as part of the wealth management process. Nilsine Partners is a fast-growing $1billion+ RIA within the wealth management industry. The overall objective is to deliver an exceptional client experience and to be an additional resource for the client and the firm.


You will sustain the already established Nilsine Partners service process at a high level. It will require coordination of the appropriate team members to consistently reach out to clients regarding their portfolios and markets, review performance reporting, keep the primary Advisor informed of pertinent updates and deliver accurate and timely service. We will ask that you follow the Salesforce process for client communication, follow up, notes and task assignment.


Your personal goal is to nurture and heighten every interaction with the clients for the firm. For existing Nilsine Partners clients, your role will be to co-manage relationships and to be a liaison for clients with the Nilsine Partners team. You will be responsible for delivering relevant portfolio & economic updates, monitoring the portfolio in conjunction with the CIO and CRM team, attending in-person or virtual meetings and presenting performance reports to the client. You will follow up with action steps for the client and close the loop from client meetings. You will be responsible for providing collaborative advice and guidance for clients.


Key Tasks

The key tasks of your job would include the following:



Wealth Management Process

· Support existing primary Advisor/Managing Director/Partner with implementation and follow-up of investment strategies

· Actively participate in client and prospect meetings (e.g., gather relevant information to understand their current financial situation, investment objectives/goals, and risk tolerance, and present tailored proposals and plans)

· Work with the Client Relationship Manager team in ensuring accounts are enrolled in strategies and monitor the execution of the Nilsine investment strategy

· Reach out to clients on maturities, money in motion, cash monitoring, and deposits

· Monitor client investment needs and allocations in relation to clients’ personal Investment Policy Statement

· Work with the team on financial plan implementation under the supervision of Senior Advisor/Managing Director/Partner

· Attend and contribute to business development meetings and support marketing efforts


Client Service

· Proactively reach out to clients in a routine manner to update them on their portfolio, the economy, and markets as directed by the existing primary Advisor

· Take the lead on answering routine client questions

· Prepare materials for client meetings

· Detail and note all interactions with clients and assign appropriate follow-up tasks

· Follow the Nilsine Partners Salesforce service models and action plans

· Initiate and attend client relationship-building meetings, events, and educational opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the wealth management industry at either a large wirehouse or RIA (preferred 5-8 years of experience with CFP®). This candidate must be licensed with Series 65 or 66 and be technologically savvy. Additional relevant industry designation would be a plus. They would have some familiarity with all aspects of wealth management including service expectations, financial markets background, financial plan presentation experience, and an understanding of investments.

Experience and proficiency in the software packages we use or equivalent:


• Financial Planning – eMoney preferred

• Client Relationship Management – Salesforce preferred

• Client Reporting - Black Diamond preferred

• Productivity - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Minimum Requirements

· Series 65

· 5 years of wealth management experience

· 5 years of client-facing delivery of investments experience and delivering financial plans

· Client-facing experience in the financial services and/or wealth management industries

· Strong knowledge of investments, portfolio construction, and asset allocation

· Strong knowledge of the financial industry and current market conditions

· Client risk tolerance & psychology of investing

· Ability to distill and explain complex concepts and jargon in a user-friendly, non-intimidating fashion
