Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Supervisor of Inventory & Analytics is responsible for providing leadership and support to entry-level production and warehouse associates. This role is responsible for supervising associates in a Distribution Center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities and efficiencies of employees in a Warehouse work environment for the distribution of satellite TV receivers and accessories
Review productivity of employees daily for accuracy and compliance with established procedures, and determines workload for team members
Capable of adapting in a fast paced environment where change is the norm
Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of direct reports
Trace history of unresolved issues to determine reasons for errors or needed corrections and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Conduct daily and weekly meetings with team members
Capable of performing all job duties of direct reports at a high level of proficiency
Directly responsible for exempt/non-exempt staff, and responsible for the performance of direct reports
Provide leadership to a distribution team and promoting employee engagement

Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
At least three years of experience in an Inventory Control role within a warehouse or distribution environment
Strong knowledge and experience with inventory management systems and practices, including familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, and Kanban
Experience with P&L management is a plus
CPIM certification is a plus
Skills:
Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems, such as Oracle, or similar platforms
Familiarity with WMS systems, such as Manhattan Scale, or similar software
Basic understanding of financial accounting principles related to inventory control
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis techniques
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office/Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets or Excel
Ability to interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating/maintenance/procedure instructions, and effectively communicate information to team members
Ability to build strong cross-functional collaborations and partnerships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information to groups of customers or employees
Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year
