Position Summary
The Data Analyst - Certification Exams will play a crucial role in analyzing data related to our certification exams, performing item analysis and exam analysis for QC and QA purposes, identifying patterns, trends, and potential exam content exposure and cheating, and contributing to exam improvement. You will work closely with the Exam Development team, Psychometricians, and other stakeholders to ensure that our exams maintain the highest standards of validity, reliability, and fairness.
Essential Duties
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, including removing errors, identifying outliers, and transforming data into a format that can be analyzed.
- Support the Exam Developers and subject matter experts by conducting item analysis, including item difficulty, discrimination, and distractor analysis.
- Support the Assessment Team in performing statistical analyses, such as Classical Test Theory (CTT), to evaluate exam reliability and validity.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in exam performance for data forensics.
- Assist in the development and validation of new exam items and forms based on data-driven insights.
- Support cross-functional teams and projects aimed at improving exam quality, candidate experience, and organizational effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in certification exam development and psychometrics.
- Analyze data for certification-related research and decision making for Senior Leaders.
- Analyze data and explore it for insights, using statistical methods to test hypotheses, identify trends, and make predictions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, specializing in data analytics.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of professional work experience.
