Freight Forwarding Sales Manager

Our client, a Freight Forwarding and Logistics provider, is looking to hire an experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Manager to join their team in the Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities:

1. Continuously seek new opportunities to sell international logistics and freight forwarding services to generate sales in the USA.
2. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of business.
3. Assist with presentations, proposals, and pricing quotes.
4. Regularly network and attend industry events to develop leads and convert into sales.
5. Create strong working relationships with clients.

Requirements:

1. Many years of experience selling international logistics and freight forwarding services across the USA.
2. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
3. Proven track record bringing in new business with Defence, Government Agencies, and Contractors preferred.
4. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
5. Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.

Some domestic and international travel may be required.
